The fully catered eco camping facilities may be hired by any group or organisation for learning activities or as a fantastic way to extend their away day to make it an overnight experience.

Sleeping accommodation
We have two sets of 10 underfloor heated, wooden camping pods, each arranged in a circle around a fire pit. The two circles are a short distance from each other and from The Lodge. The pods are the perfect place to relax after a long day, providing a touch of luxury while still experiencing the best of the great outdoors.
Each camping pod
- Sleeps two adults
- Has four fold out sleeping mats
- Is fully insulated and has underfloor heating
- Has a lockable door
- Has electric lighting

The Lodge
A short walk across the meadow from the camping pods is The Lodge. This is where your group can have meals, relax in the evenings and where washroom facilities can be found.
The Lodge is accessible using a fob which is supplied on arrival.
The Lodge facilities:
- Two sets of 3 floor-mounted toilet cubicles and showers, both with a dedicated disabled facility
- A large multi-functional room that can seat up to 80 with bifold doors
- Free WiFi
- Large SMART board, PA system, DVD player and HDMI cable
- Tea/coffee making facilities available 24 hours
- A lockable fridge
- Electric sockets including USB charging points
The camping field
The camping field is a five-minute walk away from the main entrance to The Hive along a gravelled path.
A public footpath runs beside the field with a hedgerow or fence marking the boundary, but the field cannot be seen from any roads.
In the camping field there is
- a large area of short grass
- a wild-flower meadow
- a fenced off damp meadow
- the octagon - a bespoke wooden shelter
- children's wooden play equipment
Catering
We can arrange catering for your group at an extra cost. Please contact us to discuss. There is also the option to include access to our fully-fitted kitchen within your booking, in addition to the camping facility hire.
