Our Commitment to the Environment

The Hive provides memorable, first-hand experiences of nature that educate and inspire climate action in everyone; developing respect and understanding of the natural world and empowering staff and visitors to make positive behaviour changes to tackle the climate emergency and protect the natural world.

Through education we aim to inspire visitors to care for the natural world and to make positive contributions to improve their local area.

We work with young people to develop their interest in enviro-causes which resonate with them and empower them with the confidence to stand up for what they believe is right.

To protect our planet we'll reduce our carbon emissions, leading by example to promote positive environmental sustainability aspects of teaching and learning.
