Meet The Animals

Meet The Animals (Indoor Activity)
Find out about and meet the animals which live at the Centre including a fire salamander, corn snake, stick insect, giant African snail, and hissing cockroach. 

Learning objectives 

  • To treat animals with care and sensitivity. 
  • To identify and name a variety of animals from different groups including invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles.
  • Identify and name a variety of common animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores.
  • To describe and compare the structure of a variety of common animals (invertebrates, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, including pets).
