Meet The Animals (indoor activity)
Find out about and meet the animals which live at the Centre including a fire salamander, corn snake, stick insect, giant African snail, giant millipede, and hissing cockroach. 

Learning Objectives 

  • to treat animals with care and sensitivity 
  • to identify and name a variety of animals from different groups including invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles
  • identify and name a variety of common animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores
  • to describe and compare the structure of a variety of common animals (invertebrates, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, including pets)
