A day for pupils to learn about biodiversity, climate change, and sustainability, through hands-on practical activities.
Our Climate Change and Biodiversity day involves a classroom introduction to the causes and impacts of climate change and biodiversity and why it matters, followed by our outdoor activities: Trees and Carbon and an Epping Forest BioBlitz. We will then have lunch, followed by our Climate and Nature map trail where students will use maps to find features within the grounds using co-ordinates to investigate the features The Hive is using on site to protect biodiversity and reduce our impact on the environment.
